CIAT’s very first virtual commencement will be held on June 4th, 2022 at 12:00 pm PST/ 1:00 MT/ 2:00 pm CST / 3:00 pm EST. Saturday June 4th marks the day when all degrees and certificates are formally conferred, this marks a day of celebration for our student’s hard work!
Students who graduated or are expected to graduate May 2019-April 2022 are eligible to participate in the upcoming virtual graduation.
Stay tuned for our next next in-person graduation scheduled for 2023. Students who attend the 2022 virtual commencement ceremony will also be invited to the in-person ceremony.
After establishing your eligibility for graduation, please RSVP for verification that you will be attending the virtual commencement on June 4th, 2022.
The deadline to purchase your CIAT cap & gown, was April 11th, 2022, in order to ensure orders will come on time. However, if you still wish to purchase a Cap & Gown you may do so on Amazon.
Upload a professional photo, preferably with your cap and gown if you choose to purchase. This photo will be used to highlight your achievements in a personal graduate slide. The deadline to submit is May 30th, 2022.
Our virtual commencement ceremony will be conducted via. Microsoft Teams on June 4th, 2022 at 12:00pm PST/ 1:00 pm MST/2:00 pm CST/3:00 pm EST.
Commencement will include introductions, awards, a professional speaker, and a live band. Honor students and military members will be recognized. The formal conferral of degrees & certificates will be awarded. The ceremonies will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing.
You can upload your picture to: https://wordpress-626692-2954363.cloudwaysapps.com/grad-personal-submissions/, there will be an upload file option, please upload a picture of yourself in your cap & gown (if you decide to purchase) when filling out the form. The deadline to upload your picture will be May 25th, 2022. After the deadline you will no longer be able to upload your headshot. If you’re having technical difficulties uploading a picture, email Student Services with your picture and personalized message.
If you do not upload your headshot on time, a CIAT logo will be added as a filler photo.
The deadline to purchase your cap & gown was April 11th, 2022. After the deadline students will no longer be able to purchase their cap & gown. There’s a deadline to purchase cap & gowns so we can ensure that students will receive their package on time. If students missed the deadline but still wish to purchase cap & gown they may do so on Amazon.
Students can verify if they are eligible for graduation based on anticipated graduation date and your degree audit. Students who graduated or are expected to graduate May 2019-April 2022 are eligible to participate in the upcoming virtual graduation. If students are still unsure, they may contact support to verify.
If you haven’t already, CIAT will issue your diploma after verifying that you have completed all degree requirements. You will receive it by mail approximately four to six weeks after graduation.
Yes! We plan on having an in-person graduation in 2023. Due to all the uncertainties with COVID-19, we could not ensure the safety of all our students and attendees, as well as, giving students enough sufficient time to plan for travel and stay. Students expected to graduate are welcomed to join both the virtual and future in-person graduations.
