With our Presidential Scholarship, you have the opportunity to be awarded up to $2,500 depending on the program if you meet at least one of the following eligibility criteria:

• Educationally and economically disadvantaged persons who have been historically underrepresented at higher education institutions 
• Single parents with demonstrated financial need
• Persons with a verified disability and financial need

Applicants must also meet all of the eligibility criteria listed below:

• Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
• Submit an official high school transcript
• Have an annual income below $25,000 for single applicants of $30,000 for a family of two or more
• Apply for federal financial aid

Applicants must also submit a 500-word personal statement covering the following:

• Why did you select Technology as your career?
• How is CIAT going to help you achieve your personal and career goals?
• Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

The following supporting documents must be submitted along with the application:

• Most recent IRS tax transcript (verification of income)
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship
• Verification of disability

Eligible programs:Students enrolled in Associate of Applied Science Degrees, or Certificate programs with minimum 8 courses are eligible up to $2,500 per student based on the eligibility criteria. All other Certificate programs are eligible for $400 – $1250, depending on program length.
